Well it may sound cliche...but yes this question has arised in my head now & then...And I always thought about it, but to no avail...sometimes i reasoned with myself...Sometimes I left it to fate...Sometimes I said I did it myself...Then suddenly I read these words..
"anything that can be explained by human knowledge is not in the domain of God, so the role of God is therefore confined to the 'gaps' in scientific explanations of nature"
So I get delusional again..What am i to think now??...Does Science explain or just describes a phenomena...But isn't science just a key hole peeping into a massive universe with only a part visible to it..? In mathematics, the language of science there are a number of equations which are true but cannot be proved. So why do we always want to prove something?...why do I always wonder is God existent?..Is it just a mortal habit to wonder & reason?..
God on the other hand (if existent) has given us such innumerable mysteries to unfold..yet on the other hand, every now & then someone unfolds a mystery..is it just the matter of time...or is the lifetime of humans too short to contemplate about trivial issues like finding God...We are so busy finding about each other & propagating our species that we have hardly the time to wonder where we came from...Yes, we did read in school textbooks about "Big Bang Theory" or "The Evolution of Species"...but how many of us have actually sat down & really taken that as our life mission....(Are you joking??!!) none!!...Only one in a million guy can turn out to be like Darwin...but yes also like...Gautam Buddha..so whether to believe or not yet remains a mystery..
But yes both science and God have given us some similar things in life..relief, help, comfort, pain...Cant actually imagine how difficult the life would be without the mobiles we use everyday or the simple safety pin has supported so many things..Similarly miracles have always been there...lives been gifted back from death, businesses on the downfall suddenly reviving back from bankruptcy...
(But here I go again...)
In many of the sacred books of the world there are pages written about how universe was created & how 'us' humans were too... For example in Bible, If God knew that Adam & Eve would be doing the act then why did he place a forbidden tree in midst of the garden? And if so did, then why on earth did Evil persuade Eve to have the forbidden fruit?... Didn't God knew that?.. Isn't he supposed to know about everything thats happening?.. isn't he supposed to help & save us?, then why didn't he do it then?..Ahh...'testing' you say...then we are all his creations..he was testing his own creations...hence, God was at fault...why us?...why did he throw our ancestors out?...And coming to think of it, if we go back in time & ask Neanderthal man, would he agree?...I guess he will just growl leaving us to wonder if he is really the ancestor who was thrown out of the garden...
so I am again at a full circle...Do you believe In God?...
think who you are...
Just think are you the same person who used to stand at a spot for hours just to catch a glimpse of her, are you the same person who used to love reading mills n boons at night under wraps, are you the same person who went to play badminton just for fun not for reducing weight, are you the same person who watched saas bahu ragas, or the person who cooked so badly that even the dogs ran away..you are not..but you were...just like your life changes , i write in different flavours remembering the changed ,thinking of the changing n anticipating the to be changed...hope you like spicy flavours...

Embarrassing Birthday surprise...
I guess, we all go through embarrasing moments in our lives, but have we faced any such moment which is supposed to be our special day...lets read on for one such special event & how you & i would have reacted to a similar situation like this...
One day Arya met a sweet gentleman and fell in love. Arya used to love beans like anything. When it became apparent that they would marry, she made the supreme sacrifice and gave up eating beans because of obvious reasons.
Some months later, on her birthday, her car broke down on the way home from work. Since they lived in the countryside she called her husband and told him that she would be late because she had to walk home. On her way, she passed by a small diner and the odour of baked beans was more than she could stand. With miles to walk, she figured that she would walk off any ill effects by the time she reached home. So She stopped at the dinner and before she knew it, she had consumed three large orders of baked beans.
All the way home, she made sure that she released all the gas. Upon her arrival, her husband seemed excited to see her and exclaimed delightedly: "Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight." He then blindfolded her and led her to her chair at the dinner table. She took a seat and just as he was about to remove her blindfold, the telephone rang. He made her promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call.

He made her promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call.
The baked beans she had consumed were still affecting her and the pressure was becoming most unbearable, so while her husband was out of the room she seized the opportunity, shifted her weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but it smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in front of a leather factory.
She took her napkin from her lap and fanned the air around her vigorously. Then, shifting to the other cheek, she ripped off three more. The stink was worse than stinking cabbage. Keeping her ears carefully tuned to the conversation in the other room, she went on like this for another few minutes.
The pleasure was indescribable. When eventually the telephone farewells signaled the end of her freedom, she quickly fanned the air a few more times with her napkin, placed it on her lap and folded her hands back on it feeling very relieved and pleased with herself. Her face must have been the picture of innocence when her husband returned, apologizing for taking so long.
He asked her if she had peeked through the blindfold, and she assured him she had not.
At this point, he removed the blindfold, and twelve dinner guests seated around the table chorused: "Happy Birthday!"!!

She came...
She came...jumped up & down with joy..he had looked at her and smiled today...she looked at the watch and wished it was school again...ate her food quickly and did whole lot of things, slept, cleaned her room, did homework, watched TV...but she still was thinking about his smile...waiting...for the next day...
She came...slouched on the couch for a moment & looked around...he had strewn away stuffs all around...he never did place anything at its own place...she frowned...she got up to pick up the stuff...then she went to cook dinner...tired after that she sat down to watch TV before he came...she never got any thing to herself...Maybe some day he will change...May be some day he will love me...waiting...
She came...she rolled her eyes...her son has left cold food he cooked for her again on the table...what is the need she thought..He had insisted in the morning...he was already working so hard...he doesn't need to cook too..she ate the food silently and looked at the watch...stood up after a while & went to make his favorite pasta...he might like the surprise...she was tired after that but still cleared his study table to find an invitation card lying there...today was his best friend's birth day party... she left the card there & covered the food...waiting...
She came.. the house was silent...switched the TV on thinking she always gets to watch it alone...but atleast there is a voice of another human being around the house...She looked at the watch and smiled...her grandchildren will call in another 10 minutes...they always did on saturday..atleast her son still made them call her and she could hear his laughter in the background sometimes..she again looked at the watch...waiting..
She came...slowly till the garden and sat on her favourite garden chair...she still loved the breeze after the doctor told her she needed to sit indoors seeing her condition and age...she only wanted one thing now..she looked at the old rusted gate and waited to hear familiar footsteps everyday...no noise...only wind blowing...waiting...
She came...wrapped and framed in a new photoframe...life size...she was smiling...looking vaguely at someone...she hung there...the wait was over...

Its nothin like love..(part 1)
"Tring!Tring!"...Maya rang to pick up the landline, holding a toast she was buttering up for her teenage daughter Varsha's breakfast thinking why on earth people call on landlines if they have your cell number.
"hi..Maya here.."
"Darling, why are you huffing?.."said the voice at the other end.
"Its because your granddaughter thinks that applying nail-polish to her chipped nails is more important than having her breakfast, so I am making her one & also preparing for my presentation for that new client I was running around for."
"hahhhaha...just give her a break will you?...get a life of your own. You should learn from her how to present yourself in the world. You aren't that old and who knows if you find.."
"Ma..."she was exasperated by her mother's constant reminders of her single status, which according to her was pretty normal. She had married very early to a man who had fathered Varsha and left them to fend for themselves. She was 17 then and now her daughter was 17. funny how time passes by and you suddenly notice grey temples. Not that Maya wanted to be with anyone. She was more interested in her daughter's status.
"What ma?..look at yourself..must be in that old pink salwar kameez you wear to all important formal meeting?"
"What's wrong with that?...I bought it for 300 bucks & none of my clients have ever sat together..."
"Ok wear your uniform & loose another client like the previous one"
"Ofo!...you really always do this deliberately..Now I cant wear this at all...Why do you put superstitious angle to everything??...By the way why did you call?"
"Who called to speak with you? Where's Varsha?...Have something important to tell her."
"what?"
"Are you Varsha?...Where is she?"
"Varsha....your Gummy Bear is calling.."
"Hi Gummy...Good morning!!"boomed Varsha's voice after sometime..
"Hi beta...need to give you an important job... Make sure your Mom wears western formals today..Today clients don't look at you if you are not presentable enough. She is still your size.See if you can do a small makeover. & Best of luck for your mission!"
"Aye-Aye Captain!!..bye..."She turned to look at her her mom leaning to listen and frowned. Maya smiled smiled weakly...
"You are absolutely not wearing that again today...We are going to do a simple and different look to do. "
"I am not a kid any more Varsha..."squirmed her mother.
"You are not going anywhere",she grabbed her mom's hand and took her to her room, reluctantly Maya had to follow.
Madhav was making an omelette today..Today was special. The window of the flat just in front of him was open. He caught a glimpse of Maya talking on the phone. She must have another important day today, she was wearing the pink salwar kameez. It always looked beautiful on her.But why on earth did she tie her hair always?..Generally the window remains closed but today , boy, was that glimpse special...she looked flustered pink, must be running around the house with some work, sweat beads shimmering like silver beads under sun rays...He thought he did make omelette today...he always ate a standard breakfast, a glass of milk and 2 toasts. But on every special day the only extra luxurious thing he knew hoe to make in breakfast was the omelette..
He had a big day too. He was working in a clothing line for women as a design team head for past 20 years. His boss had informed him about some important meetings he had to deal with on his behalf. He had enough of job. He had wanted to leave and do some freelancing for quite some years now. But whenever he thought of the luxuries he was getting, the car, the flat, the 9-5 job with no extra headache, he forgot all the problems he had with his Boss, Mr. Kabir Mirchandani, a man in his late twenties, much younger than Madhav but passed out of one of elite schools of designing in Paris & had joined their firm 5 years back, just when he was planning to leave. But even after bitter sweet moments with his new Boss, Madhav never left.
He carefully placed his washed dishes back into the dish tray after the breakfast and got busy in arranging the new designs he created last night.
Why on earth cant I ever get a Taxi when I need it' thought Maya. She was already late for the meeting by 15 minutes. Then suddenly two taxis screeched in front of her. She enquired and then sat in one of them wondering how she was looking and looked in the rear view mirror to find the taxi driver staring at her. She immediately averted her gaze but smiled from within 'I am not looking bad then afterall. Good job, Varsha, my sweetie!'
She reached her destination 25 minutes late but after reaching found out that her client was out and had yet not returned from his meeting and so his junior would be meeting her today instead of him. She was instantly disappointed. She was shown to a waiting lounge with a large LCD screen on which showed a channel constantly talking about newest Fall collection. She was looking very keenly when suddenly she saw a mid forties man of medium height & complexion standing in front of her with gaping eyes.
"Do I know you?"Maya was perplexed
"Oh sorry...don't worry about that look. I just thought I would be meeting someone older."said the man composing his absurd look.
Maya instantly blushed and then looked up"I had spoken about the deal with all my kurta designs being branded by your name. But the only thing I want to work out is I want all the design team to be exclusively mine. Hope you don't mind?"
"no, no absolutely not. But still I need to confirm it with my boss & if you want you can speak to him directly too as he is just about to reach office in 5 to 10 minutes. Let me show you to his office. You can wait there. Laxman, please show madam to Sir's office"
Maya accompanied the peon to the passage to a cabin with black glasses & a sophisticated appeal to its interiors. As she entered, Madhav look bewildered at her back to the same lady he had been secretively watching for past two years. He could not believe he was looking at her so close. But why was she wearing a trouser & a crisp white shirt?...where was her pink salwar kameez?..He was too happy to think anything about that.He was going to make sure his boss agrees to this deal by any cost. Kabir owed him recently when he had to save Kabir from his girlfriend, when he lied that he was with him at a bar with other friends. Or may be he didn't needed to do all that..he was standing there and thinking all this and more.
She looked at a large painting behind the creative head's chair and she thought nice artistic touch. she had a fascination for sharpeners and suddenly saw a very unique one on the table. She looked away for some time. She fiddled with her mobile. but couldn't resist somehow. the sharpener was placed on the desk below a glass topping table so she could not pick up from this side.
She crossed over and just as she leaned over to get the sharpener out, an extremely handsome man in a blue blazer suit suddenly entered holding his laptop. He looked directly at Maya and smiled. Maya suddenly realising her posture and where his eyes had gone for a visual delight straightened up.
"I just needed to sharpen"she blurted out.
"What? "The man grinned.
Maya turned beet root red.
"Anyways...hi there, I am Kabir!" his hair was thick, wavy, his eyes were lightest brown she had ever seen, and had full lips which were still grinning, much to Maya's charm & embarresment.
"Hi I-i am Maya. You must be getting all wrong ideas but seriously I was just looking for a sharpener."she was still stammering.
Kabir sensed she was all tensed up so he left the topic but as soon as he entered the room, he was looking at pretty lady in a tasteful white shirt with a nice cleavage looking at him as if she is tempting him. It was hard to control himself. She must be in her mid thirties, very pretty, a had those soft eyes which could melt you or charge you up suddenly just as she did few minutes before.
"if you allow me you can come and sit here and I can go over to my side of the desk to show you the file of the work we had earlier on a similar project,"he smiled kindly this time. Kabir didnt want to scare her the first day.
Maya realised she was still standing on that side and hurriedly came over this side and sat down.

funny incidents...part1
A Japanese tourist hails a taxi at an Indian airport and asks to be taken around the city.
On the way the tourist sees a Toyota car and shouts,
“Oh! TOYOTA! Made in Japan. Very fast.”
Next he sees a Nissan car and shouts,
“Oh! NISSAN! Made in Japan. Very fast.”
Next he sees a Mitsubishi car and shouts,
“Oh! MITSUBISHI! Made in Japan. Very fast.”
Well the Indian driver is getting a little miffed that so many Japanese made cars are passing his taxi. So he finally gets to the city stops, he’s feeling glad that he’ll soon be seeing
the back of the guy. He points at the meter and says,
“That’ll be 100 rupees please mate.”
“100 rupees, but it was a very short a ride! Why so much?”
“Taxi Meter,” says the cabby, “Made in Japan. Very fast!”

moral or just common sense?
I read a lot of fables with morals at the end of the story but learned very early life isn't a bed of roses & the morals are actually just common sense. Here's a small anecdote picked just to prove the point.
A little bird somewhere was flying as winter was approaching. Chilly winds were blowing. It got so cold it froze up and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As it lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually making him warm! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began chirping in joy.
A passing cat heard the little bird singing, and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out-and then ate him.
The morals of the story are:
1. Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.
2. Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3. When you're in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!
